On paper, it appears that this could happen again this fall. The Chargers return QB Sean Kelly and RB Andrew Wellman. Depth will be the biggest problem for El Toro, but an incoming 6-3 JV team should help a little. When asked about his team's strengths, Coach Jake Haley's response was "team speed and team togetherness." The coach also added that he anticipates improving on their 6-6 record from a year ago, but it could be tough to develop this relatively inexperienced team quickly enough this fall to make that a reality (although another playoff spot remains highly possible).
