While the Indians did not take home the title, they hope they have set a foundation on which to build a perennial title contender. 12 starters return, including 2000-yard rusher (yes, 2000 yards!) Michael Allain. The defense will be led by a strong line, including Randall Hicks. When asked about his team's goals for the 2008 season, Coach Julian Smilowitz was very succinct. "Win league. Be in playoffs. Win CIF championship." While a move up to the Southwest Division may add to the difficultly of that final goal, Fullerton High appear more than ready to take on the challenge.
