A new coach is now in place, Corey Guilfoos, and with him will come new schemes on both sides of the ball. There can sometimes be a learning curve, but Coach Guilfoos believes the offense should improve. "[We will be] more versatile than years past. [We] should be able to compliment our running game with a sound passing attack." That new passing attack will fall on the shoulders of new QB Anthony Cervantes, but he will have returning RB Christian Bush to help balance the offense. Cervantes' main passing targets may be WR Nathan Ramirez and TE Stephan Plevney. Any improvement on offense will help the defense which was able to keep the Hawks within 10 points of 4 opponents last year. Last year, Knight's D was not very far off from some of the other Golden League team's units.
