An experienced group will take the field for the Mariners with 15 starters returning. That said, it will still be a little young as many of those starters are only going to be juniors. Coach Brian Hay is very excited about his offense, "I would think that this team can post 3000 plus yards in passing this year." Mar Vista will be attempting that lofty number with a 3-year starter at QB. On defense, Coach Hay has some concerns about the interior where they will be very inexperienced. This team should be improved and will compete for a spot in the San Diego Section D-III playoffs.
