We'll be finding out this year as they are moved up into the Big VIII League with their powerful neighborhood rivals. While the Mustangs took a few lumps as the program was developing last year, they also played a few very competitive games against well-established programs. "Each year we have improved a little more, so this year we expect to be able to compete with any team," says Coach Bill Stacy. "We have 16 returning starters, and most will be 3-year starters." While Roosevelt remains a relatively new program, a playoff spot may not be out of the question this fall. |
