Key starters who will make a difference include Efren Sifuentes RB, Ryan Baker WR/WB/K and Justin Brooks- OL/DL. Sifuentes was the top rusher and receiver of 2007 racking up 702 yards and 238 yards respectively. Baker also had a respectable season as a wide receiver last year. The Indians have good depth among the skill positions but lack depth on the line. "We have great depth at the skill positions with every starting RB returning. However, TVL [Trans-Valley League] looks to be very strong again this year," said Coach Johnson.
