They have a number of players that are receiving D-I consideration, including S/LB Chris Metcalf (already committed to USC), DT/OL Justin Brown, and LB/FB Byron Walker. With solid years, several more could get rides, too. New QB Jerry Maluia will be taking over and although RB Curry Williams wasn't the leading rusher for the Tarbabes last year, he still had a sensational year, gaining over 1500 yards. Compton is going to be a part of a generally improved Moore League this year, which of course includes the behemoth Poly of Long Beach. While it's unlikely they'll topple the Jackrabbits for the league title, they could be tough once the post season rolls around.
