Outlook: The Lincoln Trojans boast one of the best stadiums in the area--a great place to play and watch a game. There's no track around the field turf, and the fans are right on top of the field. The stadium holds about 8,000 people. The Trojans return 12 starters, mostly in key positions. Rob Post is a DI recruited three-year quarterback starter. Rob is also an outstanding kicker and punter. Other outstanding players include David Hayselden FB, Jordan Enos C, Bruce Hawn OT, Josh Corbid TE/WR and Michael Spanos-RB/DB. Adding to this outstanding group of athletes is a junior varsity 9-1 team. Between these two classes, they have only lost one game during lower level squads. Coach Jim Rubiales noted, "We won our 14th league championship [last year] (since 1984). We expect to do well again this year. We have one of the best winning records over the years in Northern California." It's our opinion that Coach Rubiales' comment is far from an exaggeration. The Trojans should be exceptional this year.
