"We return 95% of our defense from the 2007 team with more players stepping up to leadership," said Coach Barnes. The team will have more experience especially on the line, where positions are filled two deep with big and fast linemen. Robert Krebs DE/TE and Paul Piukala DT/OT will be the center of the leadership for the team. The Knights may struggle with the loss of skill positions--the largest losses seen at the quarterback and wide receiver positions. Coach Barnes has been preparing his team at Cal Camp and participating in San Jose, San Lorenzo and Diablo Valley College passing tournaments.
