Unfortunately, nearly every skill position player has departed. The new QB will likely be sophomore Colton Gyulay and many other players will have youth on their side... and working against them. Adam Donchess and Brendan Killaly will be anchoring an offensive line that new coach Derek McIntyre considers to be a team strength. He also likes his receivers, led by junior Andy Multari. DE Craig Jackson will be leading a young defense that will also include Jelani Reynolds and Taylor Ross in the secondary. Those two should also get some carries on offense. The Lightning did not fare well once they got to post-season and the move of the Academy League up to the Southern Section East Valley Division probably won't help matters. While no one in the league will likely provide much trouble for front-runner St. Margaret's this year, it shouldn't surprise many to see Sage Hill be a factor in 2009.
