Returning talent includes Ben Holmes G/LB, Markell Williams RB/PR, Kyler Martin WR and Eric Core LB. There is a huge hole left by 2007 running back duo Terrence Dailey and Johnny Feaster, but Williams or one of the younger athletes are ready to take on that role this year. Martin was the top receiver last year. And the Bulldogs return both quarterbacks, Robert Bensing and Ross Peacock. "We intend to compete for our league championship and reach the playoffs," said Papadopoulos. Vacaville will have a hard road ahead of them since they have three 2007 section champions on their schedule this season.
