The Folsom Bulldogs bring back only eight starters from last year, but the confidence of the coaching staff suggest that this year's team has an exceptional bunch of players. The defense will have an aggressive 4-4 line-up this year, with an emphasis on swarming the ball. The overall athleticism of the team will be the strength of both the offense and defense. "Our team is young but very athletic. Our athletes fit our spread system very well. The line is undersized but very quick, and they excel in pass protection and the screen game," said Coach Richardson. Although quarterback David Graves is a new starter, he has had two years experience as wide receiver and running back waiting for his chance under the last year's All-Northern California quarterback Cary Grossart. All-league Andrew Benavides WR, Brandon Babineaux WR and Jared Trainor LB will have big roles too. Time will tell if talent or experience is the best solution for the Bulldogs.
