"This could be a very good year if the new players play up to their potential," coach Michael Morris said. According to reports, the Knights are young but talented--maybe the best recently. All-League Justin Lugar LB (55 tackles, 49 assists) and Jacob Wrobel FB/DE (49 tackles, 18 assists, 12 sacks) should make a huge impact on the defense. Returning quarterback Michael Morris started 13 games as QB over his varsity career. Paired with Morris, Jesse Henderson RB/WR could be a playmaker as well. The strengths of this Knights team needs to overcome inexperience in a few key areas to be successful. "We should contend for the CVC [Capital Valley Conference] championship, and our goal is to improve upon last year's first round playoff loss," concluded Coach Morris.
