One of the most exciting players for the Toreadors will be junior RB D.J. Morgan who put up over 1400 yards in total offense last year and is already garnering interest from several D-I schools. Junior QB Bam Goodall will use the year of experience as a starter to make strides this fall. Defensively, LBs Nick Bruce and Christian Hayes look to help unite a group that contains 7 returning starters from '07. There may not be a completely dominant team in the LA City Section, like last year in their fellow West Valley League mate, Birmingham, but we expect Taft to be right up there amongst the teams vying for the City Championship.
