Returning are All-County QB Tanner Rust (3000+ yards and 30 TDs), All-County WR Phillip Cook, and WR Jon Molzen. The question is whether or not the young offensive line will mature and gel quickly enough to provide Rust with time to deliver the ball. Coach Ron Burner expressed concern about not returning a proven RB, but he seems to have a handful of good options to fill that role. One thing he did NOT express concern about was his new defensive coordinator, Judd Hulbert, whom he called one of the top defensive coaches in San Diego County. The Vaqueros will be trying to improve on a 5-5 record from a year ago.
