Returning from that fine squad is QB Raymond Huizar (an All-Southern Division and All-Empire League selection) and RB Josh Brannon (over 1500 yards rushing last year). Leaders of the O-line will be juniors Ross Pitsenberger and Evan Scovill (the entire line will be juniors). Hardest hit by graduation will be the defense, which only returns 4 starters. In order to make another run at the league title (the Empire League moves up to the Southwest Division this year) and divisional title, the offense will likely need to control the clock and score a little more than they did last year. Coach Guy Gardner acknowledges the youth on the team, but feels there is a lot of talent available.
