Weighted losses penalize you more for having your top ranked teams lose: 25 points for #1, 24 for #2, etc. "Upsets only" refers to not counting losses in situations where you had the winner of the game ranked higher. In other words, for example, it doesn't make sense to penalize an organization if their #2 team beats their #23 team. Since not all lists rank teams in mid-August, the 8/20 ranking is used as the start date for this competition.
